Jet Envy

There’s no single formula for designing a deal toy. Every transaction is different — and so is every client.

Sometimes, a Lucite block with a well-composed photo is exactly the right fit. Simple, clean, and timeless. Other times, a more dimensional or theme-driven piece makes sense — something that speaks directly to the industry, the brand, or the feel of the deal itself. We’ve created everything from abstract shapes to skyline silhouettes, embedded tools, geographic icons, and more.

In this case, the story called for a different kind of stage.

The piece shown here is a miniature model of a cutaway aircraft hangar, complete with a private jet on display. It's a realistic and on-target representation of the aviation MRO (maintenance, repair, and overhaul) world — where structure, readiness, and uptime define success. The hangar represents infrastructure. The jet represents what’s at stake. Together, they frame the story behind the transaction.

As always, great design starts with asking the right questions. What’s the client’s business? What made this deal happen? What tone should the marker convey? At Polaris, we take the time to understand the nature of each deal — and the relationships behind it — so we can deliver a piece that’s not just visually strong, but emotionally meaningful.

Because a great deal toy doesn’t just mark a transaction.

It captures a moment.

A story.

A relationship worth remembering.
