Technology Deal Toys & Innovation Awards
Turn a technical achievement into something people can hold.
Polaris creates custom deal toys, financial tombstones and recognition awards for software, hardware, semiconductors, fintech and technology infrastructure. Each piece is developed around the transaction, product or milestone it represents.
START YOUR PROJECT
Find the idea inside the innovation.
Some technology stories have an obvious physical form. Others are a system, a platform or a new way of solving a problem. We look for the visual idea that makes the achievement understandable: a component, an interface, a network, a brand element or a metaphor that means something to the team.
You do not need a finished design. Bring us the story and the practical requirements; we will help determine the right direction.
What we commemorate
- Technology M&A and startup exits
- Funding rounds and public offerings
- Product and platform launches
- Patent and innovation recognition
- Data center and infrastructure milestones
- Strategic partnerships and team achievements
Design direction
Different stories. Different approaches.
01
Hardware and components
A chip, circuit board, device or facility can become the center of the design, expressed as a model, graphic or suitable embedment.
02
Software and systems
An approved interface, network pattern or layered composition can give an intangible product a physical presence without relying on a generic technology symbol.
03
The team’s own reference
A project code name, visual identity or meaningful internal reference can lead to a distinctive piece. We help turn that idea into a practical object.
Selected work
Ideas made physical.
Portfolio examples show facility models, layered forms and sculptural directions that can inform a technology-specific design.

Designed with the making in mind.
You work directly with experienced creative professionals. We consider the concept, materials, construction, quantity and budget together, then coordinate production with specialized manufacturing partners.
Lucite and acrylic offer custom shapes, layered graphics and suitable embedments. Crystal brings clarity, weight and etched detail. Resin, metal, wood and mixed construction make other forms and finishes possible.
The right material serves the idea. A more complicated piece is not automatically a more meaningful one.
Explore materials and methods →A physical checkpoint before production.
Every factory-produced custom project is prototyped and reviewed internally before the full run. We check proportions, materials, color, decoration, finish, assembly and stability against the approved artwork.
Client review can use photographs, video or an in-hand sample when appropriate. Completed production is also reviewed before shipment.
Planning your project
Work backward from the presentation date.
Share the quantity, budget, destination and required in-hand date early. We will recommend a feasible design and schedule, including approvals, production and delivery.
Typical initial concepts after we receive the basic brief.
A starting estimate for prototyping and production after artwork approval.
Allow for delivery, extra development and any physical sample review.
Practical answers
Questions before you begin.
Can you create a deal toy for a software company?
Yes. Software can be represented through branding, interface imagery, a network or product concept, or a meaningful visual metaphor. You do not need a physical product to develop a distinctive commemorative.
Can we embed a circuit board or component?
Some components can be embedded in Lucite. We assess the size, stability and compatibility with the casting process before confirming that approach. A model or graphic treatment is another option.
Can an award include patent or product information?
Yes. Supply the approved title, names, date and any reference imagery. We design the hierarchy so the important information remains readable and appropriate to the finished size.
How long does a custom project take?
Initial concepts typically follow within 24–48 hours after we have the basic information. After artwork approval, many projects need approximately 3–4 weeks for prototyping and production, with shipping additional. Complex work and extra review can add time. Share the required in-hand date so we can confirm a project-specific schedule.
Is a prototype part of the process?
Every factory-produced custom project goes through prototype verification before the full run. Polaris reviews the physical piece internally. Separate client review may be by photograph, video or an in-hand sample, depending on the project.
What should we budget?
As planning ranges, classic pieces are often $80–$150 each, dimensional / constructed pieces $150–$225, and fully dimensional / sculptural pieces $200–$300+. Setup starts around $300 per order; shipping is separate. Quantity, size, detail and manufacturing method affect the custom quote, and unusually complex work can exceed these ranges.
Start with what you have
Tell us what you are commemorating.
Send the milestone, approximate quantity, target date and budget, along with draft text, logos and any reference images. We will help turn that information into a clear design direction.
START A PROJECT CONVERSATIONTell us about your technology milestone.
Share the transaction, launch or achievement, approximate quantity, budget and required delivery date. Logos, approved product imagery and draft wording help us begin.
You do not need to decide on a material or a finished design before contacting us.
