A deal toy is a physical commemorative for a merger, acquisition, financing, fund closing or other business milestone. Polaris designs each piece around the companies, assets, products or people that give the achievement its identity.

You do not need to choose a material first. We help determine whether the design calls for a classic clear form, a dimensional construction or a sculptural object.

01 / Define & design
Tell us what matters about the achievement. We develop concepts with the materials, quantity, budget and presentation date in mind.
02 / Approve & verify
You approve the artwork, specifications and costs. We make and review a physical prototype before authorizing full production.
03 / Produce & deliver
Specialized partners produce the pieces. Polaris reviews the completed work and coordinates packing and shipment to the agreed destinations.

Prototype & production
About 3–4 weeks after artwork approval is a useful starting estimate for many projects. Complex work can require more time.
Delivery
Shipping and approvals need their own time. Tell us the required in-hand date and destination early.
As planning ranges, classic pieces are often $80–$150 each, dimensional / constructed pieces $150–$225, and fully dimensional / sculptural pieces $200–$300+. Setup starts around $300 per order; shipping is separate. Quantity, size, materials and complexity determine the custom quote, and elaborate work can exceed these ranges.

Are deal toys and financial tombstones the same thing?
In current financial-industry usage, both terms can refer to a physical commemorative piece. “Deal marker” is another useful name. A financial tombstone also has a historical meaning as a formal transaction announcement.
Are all deal toys made from Lucite?
No. Lucite is a brand name commonly used as shorthand for acrylic. Deal toys can also use crystal, resin, metal, wood and mixed materials.
Can we start before the deal closes?
Yes. We can begin with a code name, limited information and placeholder text, then finalize the artwork as details become available.
Do we receive a prototype?
Every factory-produced custom project is prototyped and reviewed internally before the full run. We check proportions, materials, artwork, finish, alignment, assembly and stability against the approved design. Client review may use photographs, video or an in-hand sample when appropriate.
