Digital Print
Digital printing uses specialized inkjet systems to print full color graphics directly on white, opaque film for embedment in Lucite. Often mistaken for paper, this opaque film offers superior performance compared to paper, as it resists yellowing and other discoloration that can occur as a reaction to curing process in an autoclave.
Like UV printing, Digital printing an inkjet print method, generally with 7 colors, but unlike UV printing, Digital printing is not suitable for surface printing on media such as crystal, Lucite or metal. Rather, digital printing is ideal for gradient artwork, photography, complex imagery and brand colors that require accurate reproduction and is used only for graphics to be embedded in Lucite.
