Metal Components & Custom Awards

Structure, surface and contrast.

Metal can become a sculptural form, an architectural component, a plate, a base or an accent within a larger piece. The appropriate alloy and fabrication method depend on the design, dimensions, finish and quantity.

Design possibilities.

A defined structure

Cut, machined or cast components can emphasize geometry and create a distinctive relationship between parts.

The right finish

Polish, texture and color change how a surface reflects light. Finishing requirements should be part of the first production discussion.

Balance & handling

Weight, stability, sharp edges, joins and protective packaging all need attention in a successful metal construction.

A physical check before the full run.

Every factory-produced custom project is prototyped and reviewed internally before the full run. We check proportions, materials, artwork, finish, alignment, assembly and stability against the approved design. Client review may use photographs, video or an in-hand sample when appropriate.

Practical answers

Questions, answered.

Is a metal-looking award always made from metal?

No. Resin and other materials can receive metallic-looking finishes. The quotation and approved specifications should identify the actual materials.

Can metal be part of a mixed-material design?

Yes. Metal can be combined with clear panels, wood, resin and other appropriate materials when the assembly suits the concept.

Is metal only for large budgets?

No. A modest component or plaque involves different work from a complex casting. Size, quantity, tooling and finish determine the cost.

Plan the whole project.

Initial concepts typically follow within 24–48 hours after we receive the basic brief. Many projects then need about 3–4 weeks for prototyping and production after artwork approval, with shipping additional. Revisions, client approvals and complex work can add time. We confirm a schedule for the actual project.

Your next project

Start with what you have.

Share the transaction or milestone, approximate quantity, target delivery date and budget. Add draft text, logos or reference images if you have them. You do not need a finished design.
